Professional Qualifications
I am a fully qualified counsellor with a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling awarded by Brighton University.
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the organisation that oversees counsellors in the UK and therefore subscribe to their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice. I am covered by both public and liability insurance for the work that I will be doing with you.
I hold a current, enhanced DBS certificate for my work with young people and children.
I have worked with children and young adults in my role as a teacher as well as during my time as a counsellor. In addition to my private practice, I work as a Primary Mental Health Worker.

Your initial consultation will be free and will last 30 minutes. This will enable me to get to know a little bit about you. It will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, talk about your concerns and discuss your goals for counselling.
Each subsequent session will last 50 minutes and will cost £45.
Concessionary rates may be available upon request if you are a trainee counsellor or on a low income. Please feel free to discuss this with me when you first get in touch.

Mornings: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Afternoons: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Evenings: Monday to Thursday
It may be possible to arrange sessions outside these times.
